another DR visit and ultrasound :)

On November 6th we went for my first real OB appointment. I first had to get blood drawn, which anyone that knows me knows how very traumatic of an event that is for me!! I was smart this time and chose to lay down, so luckily did not fully faint but afterward my blood pressure was like 60/50, yikes! So after I recovered from that episode (isn't labor for me going to be interesting!) I was able to have another ultrasound (see above)! First the reading said 8 weeks and 5 days then 8 weeks and 4 days, so I was somewhere around that. Meaning my due official due date is 6/13/08! The baby was 4x bigger than "it" was just two weeks before. Amazing!

So...for everyone who is wondering what they heck they are looking at in the blob above, the head is on the left and that faint swirl that is spiraling downward is the umbilical cord! Everything is looking good so far (the Dr. even commented on how nice my amniotic sac looked, uhh thanks?!) And we were also able to see the heart beating again this time so everything seems to be great!
